This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more The primary responsibility for this position will be management of patients requiring advanced endoscopic services. The will include expertise with ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Radiofrequency Ablation and motility procedures (both performance and interpretation). While leadership of the advanced endoscopy and motility programs will be the primary focus, applicants should be fully qualified to perform general endoscopy and provide consultative care to the full range of GI conditions and including general hepatology. Patient management will largely occur in a busy out-patient clinic along with some in-patient consultations while teaching DHMC/VA Gastroenterology fellows.
