Medical Technologist II Per Diem Variable Weekends

Position Summary:

Medical Technologist II Performs a variety of laboratory tests on blood, tissue and body fluids using both automated analyzers and manual methods. Medical Technologist II Ensures accurate, timely reporting of patient test results in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis, confirmation, and treatment of various clinical conditions and diseases. Medical Technologist II Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelorâ��s degree in Medical Technology preferred.
• Six months of technical experience required.
• Three or more years of technical experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Florida Medical Technologist Licensure
• Generalist preferred

Minimum of 2 years hospital experience required for sign on eligibility

Per Diem Variable Shifts, primarily weekend hours
