Clinical/Technical Minimum of 5 years’ experience in diagnostic ultrasound in women’s health and 3 years of Management experience required.
Perform ultrasounds in accordance with protocols established by the physicians of the practice
Maintain production and quality of ultrasounds by following established standards and procedures; observing results; make necessary adjustments
Learning the Athena software and complying to policies and procedures regarding submitting orders and creating logs daily.
Send/discuss scan results with treating practice physician(s) and midwives.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and calling for assistance from other health care support personnel when appropriate.
Insure proper operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques
Maintain related supplies inventory by checking stock and the supplies in all offices
Follow all requirements for continued ARDMS registry
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by abiding by all aspects of OSHA and OSHA compliance.
Adhere to all Practice standards, policies and procedures of AIUM accreditation and lead the re-credentialing process for maintaining the practice's AIUM accreditation.
Current ARDMS registration
Two year allied health background in an AMA approved program and/Master's degree
Proven management experience as a Lead Sonographer
Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
Ability to remain calm under stress
Excellent interpersonal skills
Fluent in the English language
