The position is responsible for producing diagnostic images of the highest quality within departmental and professional
guidelines as well as Demonstrating service-oriented approach when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff. This is a Casual Position.
Performs Medical Imaging Examination, i.e., in Radiant and PACS
Provides continuous patient care
Evaluate the work environment and respond to changes
Performs radiographic quality control functions and Image processing
Communicates Medical Information
Maintains equipment and work environment
Performs clerical/ PACS duties
Demonstrate service-oriented approach when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff.
Verify patient orders in Radiant and make correction as needed to charges.
Chose correct patient from the technologist work list
Proficient in the operation of PACS Cube (Images duplication to CD and image import)
Assist and instruct Student Radiographers
Gives accurate information
Willingness to accept change
Work with team
Answers customers’ questions
Schedule time efficiently
Maintain current State and ARRT license
Stay current on technological aspect of job
ARDMS Registered and CPR Certification preferred.
ARDMS registry eligible is acceptable but must achieve ARDMS within one year of employment
ARRT Registered preferred, but not required
Licenses, Registrations or Certifications:
ARRT Certification and Florida HRS licenses preferred, but not required
