The Nurse Manager for the NNPs in the Florida partnerships is responsible for the supervision, evaluation, hiring and support of the partnership NNPs. This position will coordinate with the NCH manager of the APRNs, and facilitate alignment with the Partnership team, the transport team and the NCH Neonatology division. The position will also be responsible for out-reach education for high risk or complex deliveries at partnership sites. In addition, the position will be the on sight director of the student NNP program for Nemours. The position is also responsible for promoting customer satisfaction and modeling the Nemours Standards of behavior.
Position is half clinical, half administrative and hours will vary - clinical will be in-house 24/7, non-clinical will be business hours
Partnership NNP Manager
Acts as a resource, role model, clinical leader for the NNPs throughout the Florida partnerships
Supervise, evaluate, and provide administrative support to partnership NNPs
Leads the recruitment, hiring, onboarding of NNPs
Coordinates the schedule, monitor NNP credentialing requirements, mentor and develop staff
Collaborate with the APRN manager at NCH
Ensure strong team work and collaboration with physician teams, Ensure evidence based practice
Participate in monthly Partnership operation meetings and team meetings for the partnership sites.
Ability to set priorities and manage time and resources efficiently.
Excellent assessment, communication and listening skills.
Ability to work as part of the inter-disciplinary team accepting and giving feedback appropriately.
Ability to make decision, think-proactively, and act as a change agent.
Excellent record keeping and oral and written communication skills.
This position will require frequent travel between multiple hospitals and may require occasional overtime.

Ability and willingness to visit partnership hospital locations throughout Central Florida
Role model leadership as demonstrated by actively supporting and communicating the Nemours mission, vision and strategy.

Provides administrative support for providers at assigned Partnership Hospital.
Master's Degree Required
Must be a Licensed NNP in the state of Florida
Must maintain an American Heart Association BLS
Coordinator or Supervisor experience in a healthcare setting preferred
