Seattle, Washington - Swedish Medical Group is actively recruiting a Sports Fellowship-trained Physiatrist, to join Swedish Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Services and the Swedish Spine, Sports & Musculoskeletal Medicine team. Candidates should be board-certified in PM&R, and ideally board-certified or board-eligible in Sports Medicine. This team is an integral part of Swedish Health System's Rehabilitation and Performance Medicine enterprise, providing evidence-based spine, sports, occupational and wellness services. Ideal candidates will exhibit exceptional interpersonal, patient communication and teamwork skills and possess equally strong skills evaluating and managing musculoskeletal dysfunction, sports injuries, sports concussion, and sport-related spine conditions. At this time we seek to hire those with special interest and expertise in all aspects of general musculoskeletal and sports injuries, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided procedures, and a desire to help teach Sports Medicine fellows. Experience with Regenerative Medicine techniques are a welcome but not mandatory skill set. Successful candidates are expected to partner with existing providers to manage elite, professional, and recreational athletes, and provide sideline/event coverage. Successful candidates must demonstrate ambition and leadership skills to help further develop our department and the Rehabilitation and Performance Medicine enterprise, and help promote the development of Regenerative Medicine services.
