Community Health Network is seeking a fellowship trained, BE/BC Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to serve as Medical Director of a thriving, hospital-based practice in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are also seeking an additional BE/BC Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join this practice due to high volume growth.
These opportunities entail performing general Maternal-Fetal Medicine services, including ultrasound scanning. Ideal candidates for both positions will have the ability to work with highly integrated teams, employing a multi-disciplinary approach in order to provide the most comprehensive care for our patients. •Interpreting detailed fetal ultrasounds •Performing procedures such as amniocentesis and amnioreductions •Consulting services for inpatient and outpatient services for co-management of various maternal co-morbidities and fetal anomalies •Teaching medical students and residents from affiliated programs
For the Medical Director, the aforementioned responsibilities are expected as well as the following: •Assist in expansion of the division and medical outreach •Set practice goals and act as an administrative liaison for practice growth •Attend section and various committee meetings •Assist with recruitment of future staff and other physicians •Ensure continued education and performance oversight of MFM sonographers
